About Us

North Shoalhaven Meals on Wheels provides in excess of 750 meals a week to more than 300 clients from Berry to Huskisson, Shoalhaven Heads to Tomerong, and everywhere in between.

We are committed to delivering more than just a meal; we are a friendly support service of over 250 dedicated local volunteers helping people to remain in their own home and maintain their independence.

What We Do

Deliver affordable meals

Our menu offers a variety of options to suit your needs. We keep our prices competitive and consistent across our range, with main meals priced at $7.50, small plates for $4.70, omelettes for $3.00, desserts for $2.50, soups for $2.50 and sides for $1.50. If you are on a Home Care Package (HCP), your main meals come down to $4.50 per meal, with the balance charged to your HCP budget.

Provide meals in line with the National Meal Guidelines for older people

Our meals maximise our clients’ protein, calcium and nutrient intake to help reduce the risk of falls, infections, hospitalisation and ultimately malnutrition. You can have full confidence in the meals delivered to your door. Safety and hygiene are priorities throughout every step of our process.

Build customised meals plans

Our Client Coordinators work one-on-one with our clients to develop a customised meal plan, with over 40 meals that can be varied to suit dietary and medical requirements.

Encourage social connection

Our Meals Together volunteers can heat meals, share a meal with those who may not get out much, and organise small group outings.
